Dental Tip Series #20: Replacing Your Toothbrush Heads

Is It Time to Replace Your Toothbrush?

In this quick oral health tip, Susan, one of our hygienists at North Creek Dental Care, shares a simple but important reminder: change your toothbrush (or brush head) every three months.

Whether you use a manual or power toothbrush, worn bristles don’t clean your teeth effectively. Even more important? Make sure you’re using a soft or extra-soft brush. Hard or medium bristles can be too aggressive on your teeth and gums; soft bristles get the job done safely and effectively.
